My homepage which has nothing to do with my installation of 2.2 (unpatched, yeah, I suck) in a separate directory, was hacked today. I Googled the text on my hacked homepage and found another hacked site which is too similar to be of coincidence (one big difference is they didn't change the look of my GB, they just changed my homepage):

(They are running 2.2 as well)

In my hack, two things happened:

1. my homepage (index.html in my root dir) was changed to something very similar to the link above.
2. On my guestbook, which is now patched , I get the "admin loop" problem on all 2.2 guestbooks on my domain. I have tried the suggested fixes with no luck. They seem to pertain to issues related to an upgrade which I never did.

I would really like to avoid an upgrade, as I have read that it will remove the pics posted.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Changing the file extension made it work as a seperate page, but what if I want to insert that Poll table in an existing HTM page?

I forgot to set my poll to check IP list to prevent mutliple posting by the same person/IP.

I see a "reset" button.. but I'm afraid to try for fear of taking the vote count to zero and losing the voting status.

Is there a way to manually adjust the vote count? I don't want to reset it, I just want to adjust/reduce the count to eliminate the mutliple votes by a couple of people.

Anyone got a clue?

I have resolved the problem of the icons for integrated nuke so doing,
I have edited the file yahoo.php and I have added to

and it perfectly works!
I believe that this change is had to do in the whole files...
icq.php, yahoo.php, msn.php, aim.php if the integrated guestbook is used with phpnuke

I have now noticed that I have a problem.... when to click on the icon of msn doesn't open me the messenger to send the message, not that is very important to do it, but I believe that if a things there is has at least to work, I use the messenger beta 7.0 ITA..
I hope that these 4 lines that I have written with mine not perfect English can be useful to someone that uses the nuke as me.

Meanwhile I wanted to make the compliments to the staff for the marvelous guestbook that you have realized.
You excuse for my English but I am Italian and I don't speak very well it.
I wanted to make to know you that contrarily of many posts that I have read me I have not had problems to integrate the guestbook inside a site done with nuke, I will have had fortune but I have simply put the voice "true" in this line (admin/config.inc.php)

in more I have added the mods of Carbonize, only that with the links of msn the icons are not seen.
I am not a planner I am alone impassioned and I have a lot of time to lose, but I don't succeed in resolving the problem.
I have read in many posts but I/you/they have not succeeded in finding the solution. Would you know how to help me as to resolve the problem ?

Nope --- haven't changed that file at all --- but I did start from code given by web host. Maybe I should just replace this file with site info?

Not sure there is any changes anyway and I'm going to go on the thought that they are the same (web host vs zip file from site).

Is there anyway of moderating the guestbook so when a user signs the book it puts the message in a queue so the admin can authorise it?

My book was getting spammed quite a bit so that's why I am asking about it.

If not is there a book out there that looks and feels like advanced guestbook but has this feature?

I've got a little problem with installing multiple polls on the same page... Sure, if it's the same poll type the stuff works like a charm, but here i wan't to display one poll type from demo_3.php for example and also a demo_1.php example in the same page. I tried to modify it by myself but i just can't get it. If someone solve this problem before, can you just put a link in here or try to help me out please?

I' get this if I include the demo_3.php example in the same page:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class poll in C:\dir_path\include\class_poll.php on line 10

This error returns the demo_1.php example poll

don't think that is a proper ip address. They should hve more numbers, like the example shown in the administration:
